Tiago Melo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built Orbit: Event Hub (“the App”) as a commercial application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the App.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal data. All information you enter — events, transport, stays, tickets, notes, reminders and attachments — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

No Analytics, No Tracking, No Ads

The App contains no analytics SDKs, no tracking frameworks, and no advertising. Your usage is not measured or reported.

Permissions the App May Request

The App requests certain iOS permissions only when you explicitly use a feature that requires them:

  • Calendar — requested when you tap “Add to Calendar” on an event. Used only to create, update, or delete a calendar entry that mirrors your Orbit event. We do not read your existing calendar data.
  • Notifications — requested when you save your first reminder. Used only to deliver local time-sensitive notifications scheduled by you. No remote push notifications are used.
  • Photos / Files — requested when you add an attachment. Used only to import the file you select. Attachments are copied into the App’s private storage on your device.

You can change any of these permissions at any time in Settings → Orbit on your device.

Data Storage

All App data is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData and the App’s Documents directory). No data is synced to iCloud, no data is sent to any server, and no data is shared with any third party.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the App is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
